The Illuminated Earth Oracle
I know that sometimes oracle decks/cards don’t get as much love as their ‘set system’ counterparts (tarot (various systems) and lenormand) - but I think their uniqueness, simplicity and adaptability make them such a versatile and valuable divination tool.
The Illuminated Earth Oracle feels like such an earthy and organic deck. No edging, but the matte gold highlights that border the card illustration and key word remind me of gold or gum or treasure that you might find in a river/water way. The earth holds treasures for us to find, and this deck seems to celebrate this and demonstrate this with every card you pull.
Wonderful card size and stock for shuffling, it makes reading with them so calming and satisfying. The art itself is a surprise every time you pull a card - definitely an abstract aesthetic, which I didn’t know I would love as much as I do - it makes you pause and dig deep, to see what the shapes and colours call to you (before checking in with the guidebook to see what insights it will lend).
I love guidebooks, and this one is simple, and yet thought provoking. - even once I’ve intuitively decided on what the card might mean, I always learn something more with the interpretations provided. The card names provide such a broad range of concepts to ponder too.
63 cards to play with and I’m very happy about this - lots of options! A well thought out and chunky oracle deck to use in whichever way you see fit. Whether reading with it on its own or with other decks or tools, this oracle would be a go-to for me - especially if I’m looking for something surprising or unpredictable in a reading. This deck is already proving to be a much loved deck in my collection let alone the MoonAmaia collection of decks.

Traditionally used for divination, oracle cards are a contemporary tool enjoyed by many for self-reflection, contemplation, and guidance. This vibrant, hand-painted and collaged deck of 63 cards combines concepts of the human experience with the beauty and mystery of the natural world. Each card is intuitively rendered, offering a unique perspective on both practical and metaphysical matters. Woven within the deck are 12 of my figurative pieces which represent the human element of the seeker here on Earth, whose journey takes them on a path of illumination. Includes a 24-page booklet with topics of contemplation for each card.
