The Meraki Tarot (4th Edition)
Multiple editions of the same deck can be quite frustrating for deck collectors - as a fellow deck collector, if I love a deck I MUST have all editions of that deck ha ha! But there are some decks that change enough that it makes the new edition so worthwhile having. The 4th edition of the Meraki tarot is one of those decks for me I think.
Why is that? - firstly, the darker aesthetic for the box and card backs which make the new box/card back design pop even more (that’s totally my jam!) - look how photogenic it is! The rusty gold edging (so gorgeous) gives the deck a very earthy but classy feel (almost rose gold vibes?). There are three cards that have had alternative illustrations created for them (which you can switch in and out with the original designs - the Page of Cups options are shown in the product photos) and a couple of new oracle cards too.
The one issue I have now is trying to decide which version of the Meraki tarot I love the most! Seriously cannot decide.
The deck still has the same beautiful pastel-style illustrations, information cards (I think there is a PDF guidebook available for this edition that you need to purchase from the Bouchette Design Etsy shop if you need it), and general feel. It’s familiar and comforting - and still as much of a joy to read with as its edition predecessors. Wonderful!
