You may have seen the first version of this beautiful deck on my website already - which was housed in a drawer style box and had a number of extras included with it. And boy, did you all love this deck like I do!
This version of the deck has the same beautiful cards but is housed in a magnetic box. I much prefer the magnetic box to the original drawer style box (after much use, my drawer style box would sometimes open without much encouragement - which would often end up with cards everywhere ha ha!). So a definite improvement from my perspective!
Otherwise it is the same beautiful aesthetic (black and gold, and stunning floral/plant art on black background) which works amazingly for this deck - simple concept and wonderful presentation, I personally can’t get enough of this deck (I often use it for client readings). Wonderful to shuffle (you need to be a little careful about how you shuffle it to maintain the edging), every reading feels beautiful and special.
The deck comes with six tarot sized postcards (with Botanica art on them) and the booklet insert containing interpretations (which is basic but all you need - you’ll learn/get used to the symbols on each card in order to find the booklet interpretation…I quite enjoyed that process).
A classic ‘eye candy’ deck with substance - give it a go, I promise you won’t regret it.
Of note: The publisher and deck creator are releasing a combination tarot and oracle deck very soon (this was released as another Kickstarter project) - so if you want to wait for the ‘Botanica - Full Bloom’ deck that contains the tarot deck and 33 additional oracle cards rather than buying just the tarot deck, absolutely go for it - I understand!
