Black Salt Oracle
Another brilliant creation in the ‘Black Salt’ saga - the Black Salt Oracle brings a depth of meaning and flexibility to your readings, drawing on modern and pop culture references to bring another layer of understanding and recognition to each card. It’s also just plain old FUN - I mean, look at these stylish, good looking cards. How can you not smile while shuffling these gorgeous cards, knowing that whatever cards are drawn will provide entertainment as well as truth.
This deck completes the ‘trilogy’ of divination decks for the ‘Black Salt’ saga - Lenormand, Tarot and Oracle - yes, if you have all three of these decks, you have the set! Well done!
The cards themselves, as well as looking amazing with matte black edges, are a size that makes shuffling so easy. The holographic foil is stunning in certain light (rainbow colour galore) - but even in ‘plain silver’, the imagery shines and stands out.
A few favourite cards of mine - incense, chrysanthemum, mirror, door knocker, onion - you can see that the subject matter for the cards in this deck could be interpreted differently depending on the situation you’re reading for. The breadth of scope is broad - and this means you can let your intuition fly - and see where it lands! However, if you need a few idea starters, the guidebook is absolutely brilliant - so much information packed into that little book. Even if you have interpreted the cards yourself, a little look at the guidebook could provide another perspective for you to draw on.
If you choo-choo-choose this deck, get ready for some fun, and some ‘ooooo’s and ‘ahhhhh’s (this deck and the other black salt decks tend to draw people in - they are attention getters!). Match it with different decks, see how the energy of this deck supports whatever reading you are doing - and helps you to dive into areas that may not be strictly traditional, but may be more fitting than you realise.

Deck specifications (from the creator, Logan from Lark and Legend):
Find magic in the mundane with this 56 card oracle deck and guidebook! So many decks feature esoteric symbolism, rife with secrets that need deep research to be understood. The Black Salt Oracle puts your own intuition in charge from the start with easy to identify objects chosen for their ability to instantly evoke intuitive hits for the reader.
Each card features an object common to some houses and/or yards, detailed in beautiful holographic/rainbow silver foil artwork against a black backdrop.
The deck comes with a guidebook that gives you extra meanings to pull from, custom spreads, and illustration notes for each card, explaining why I chose to associate certain objects with certain themes and so on.
• 56 cards.
• Cards printed on 400 GSM art paper, with anti-scuff matte finish for ease of shuffling, and feature matte black edges.
• Cards measure 70x110mm, making them shorter than a standard tarot card and thereby easier to handle for folks with small hands (like me).
• Comes with 130 page guidebook, full of insights into card art choices, divinatory meanings, and custom spreads.
• Comes in a rigid, magnetic clasp box with an interior ribbon.
